Application
The Ritual: Massage a half-pea sized amount into wet skin, morning and night, focusing on areas of sensitivity and the delicate eye contour following cleansing. Mist The Jasmine Garden generously over freshly cleansed skin before and after The Blue Cocoon to seal in hydration and nutrition, and again after makeup to set and impart a gorgeous glow.

The Blue Cocoon is beautifully adaptive and has become a favourite for various skin types ranging from dry, highly sensitive and reactive (an often perfect match, and the most obvious) to oily, acneic and inflamed types who benefit from the incredibly soothing, balancing and anti-inflammatory action of the blue tansy (and other acne-friendly essentials such as frankincense and myrrh). It makes a great spot treatment for calming areas of eczema, dermatitis, rosacea and similar conditions all the way to aggressive breakouts and just a tiny amount goes a long way in achieving beautiful results.
The Blue Cocoon is essentially a beautiful facial oil in balm form. In the jar, it is a solid. Once it touches skin, it turns immediately to a lovely fluid. This is used both as a hydrator (in rotation with or in addition to The Youth Dew) or as a treatment for skin. It can be used as a spot treatment or for the full face, neck and decollete. It is a powerful anti-inflammatory and soothes skin in the most beautiful way, providing the perfect level of hydration and healing, eliminating any redness and irritation.
You can also absolutely layer The Youth Dew with The Blue Cocoon, which I love. When my skin desires this, I typically massage The Youth Dew into my damp skin first, then sweep The Blue Cocoon over my most troubled areas, patting additional around my eye area and over my lips. Both The Youth Dew and The Blue Cocoon are great for an eye and lip treatment! :)
